The Followers of Abraham (FoA) project brings the message of the Qur’an to English speakers. Excerpts of the Qur’an are translated and presented in a modern and accessible language. These excerpts will be presented in small booklets that will provide a window to the Qur’an. Click here to read: What is the Qur’an?
This is a multi-part project:
– First, FoA will publish a number of booklets as part of the ‘Prophets in the Qur’an SERIES‘. Each booklet will focus on one of the most frequently mentioned prophets in the Quran. The booklets will quote the verses of the Qur’an which relay the story of that particular prophet.
– Second, the FoA website will be developed to contain extensive background and supporting information. This will assist readers in getting a better understanding of the Qur’an and of the topics of the published booklets.
– Third, FoA will publish other booklets containing either excerpts of the Qur’an related to specific topics, or containing complete chapters of the Qur’an.
– Fourth, FoA will explore the parallel stories in the Bible and offer limited commentary.
